Activity #1: Butterfly Life Cycle

This week we have been learning about how a caterpillar changes into a butterfly. We even have our very own caterpillars in the Nursery to observe as they go through their metamorphosis. Watch the quick video below about the life cycle of a butterfly. Discuss with your child the things they noticed. Then review your child’s understanding of the topic by playing the game that follows.

Listen to the sentence. Select the picture that matches the description and drag it to the blank space to complete the picture. Lastly, put the pictures in the right order according to a butterfly’s life cycle.

Activity #2: Connect the Dots

Invite your child to play the following game to help them recognise the numbers 1 to 10 or 1 to 20. All they have to do is to connect the numbers in ascending order to form a picture.
