Activity #1: Birthdays

Next Friday, we will be looking at birthdays. Watch the birthday story below to introduce the topic to your child. Afterwards, you can talk to them about their own birthday? When is it? What month is it? How old are they now and how old will they be on their next birthday? Look at photos of their recent birthday celebration (if you have any) and encourage your child to talk about what they remember about their special day.

Activity #3: The Number 6

This week, we learned about the number 6. We looked at different ways of making 6, including what numbers add up to 6 and writing the numeral 6. Ask your child to watch the video below and then go on a hunt for number 6 at home.
