Activity #1: Chinese New Year
This year, Chinese New Year falls on the 1st of February. To mark the event next week, the children will be making Chinese lanterns and cherry blossom paintings. We will also do a dragon dance and try some Chinese snacks.
To help your child better understand what it is about, there are a few videos below that you can watch. You can also try making your own Chinese crafts such as model dragons and Chinese fans. You can also invite your child to try some Chinese food like noodles and dumplings.
