Oh, today we are getting onto the good stuff! It’s fraction time! You will need your Fraction assessment booklet - today you will complete section A which is pages 2 to 5. You will need to do the following things with fractions

• Simplify
• Compare and order
• Add and subtract
• Multiply
• Divide

I want you to have a go at these yourself first. If you get stuck, send me an email and I will do my best to do you a video!

Today you will continue your work on expanded noun phrases where you will have to identify the expanded noun phrase in each sentence.

English

Today you will be using the plans that you wrote yesterday to start writing your own version of Treasure Island (obviously you can change the title!). Today you will write your opening, build up and problem. Make sure you are editing your work as you go (I will be looking out for this!)

Creative Learning

Today you are going to become pirates! (Oh yes you arrrrrrrrr!) On purple mash, I have set you ‘pirate’ as mash cam where you can become pirates. Take a photo of yourself with your best piratey pose and then write a description of yourself as a pirate. Use all of the amazing information that you found out last week to make your descriptions as realistic as possible.
