Anti Bullying Ambassadors
Four of our children, in Key Stage 2, have been trained as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Programme raises awareness of bullying behaviour and supports schools and young people to tackle it across the UK and beyond.
The Anti-Bullying programme engages pupils to change attitudes, behaviours and culture within a school by building skills and confidence to address different situations, both on and offline.
Community Badge
As a group we are working towards gaining the Community Badge. We have held a whole school assembly introducing the ambassadors, sharing the definition and types of bullying behaviours. We have also spoken to the school governor partners at their meeting to discuss our work.
We have asked children in the school to design anti-bullying posters. We have displayed the winning posters around the school.
As a group we have worked on designing a pamphlet to tell new pupils about the anti-Bullying team. You can see this below.
