In Year 3, the children were set the challenge to create an alien landscape that had 35 eyes. There were two types of alien - Doggites who had 3 eyes, and Zoggites who had 5 eyes. Their task was to work out how many of each alien there could be. The children created their alien landscapes using bubblewrap, paint and googly eyes!
Have a look at our lovely work. Which ones are correct solutions? Are there any solutions that the children missed?
