Block Building Challenge Club
In Block Building Challenge Club, we complete different challenges using wooden blocks and lego pieces. We meet on a Wednesday afternoon after school and the members of the club are from Years 2, 3 and 4.
Week 5
In our final week the challenge was to build something and then for Mr Trodd to guess what it was. Take a look at all our wonderful creations. Thanks to everyone who came to the club - it has been a fun few weeks!
Week 4
The challenge this week was to build Mr Trodd his dream house! The finished products had all kinds of luxuries - big screen TVs, swimming pools, flying cars and even robots! There was even a Maltesers fridge (perfect for Mr Trodd!!). Take a look - remember you can tap on a picture to see a bigger version.
Week 3
Along with various creations this week, the challenge was to build your name from the blocks. Take a look and see if you can read the names and see the very creative ways that some of the letters were created. If you look closely you might also spot some teacher names that were created! Week 2
The challenge this week was to build a marble maze! We had to think about putting in pathways and also dead ends. Some groups also put in traps like spikes that would send you all the way back to the start! Take a look at these pictures - you will also see some of the other creations we made during the free-building time!
Week 1
We had a great fun time creating all sorts of things. Can you spot any buildings or cars? What about a penguin in a hot tub? Our challenge this week was to try and build a robot. There were some spectacular results!
