Reading with your child 
At 2.30 please come to the door that your child normally comes out of and the class teacher will let you in! If you have more than one child in the school please pick a child to read with and tell your other child you will read with them the next time. For health and safety we cannot have parents going between classes. Many thanks.

We had a record number of children having a school dinner today….279!

Please see below for those children that won. We will be sending a letter out next week to the winners explaining when we will be going. 

All the children were amazing today, clapping and cheering their friends who won!

Thursday 19th January is school census day and we need as many children as possible to to have a school dinner.

Happy New Year to everyone in the Westcourt community. Don’t forget children return to school at the normal time on Wednesday 4th January. We can’t wait to see you all! 

 

School is open today as normal. Please take care as you come in to school. All paths within the school have been cleared. 

A health and safety risk assessment has been carried out on the site this morning and school is not safe to open. The site will be cleared and made safe for opening tomorrow. 

Learning will be online for children. 

We will message later in the day about tomorrow and the rescheduled EYFS production.

We express our deepest sympathies for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her dedication to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and to her other realms and territories is unparalleled and we thank her for her service. Our school and The Primary First Trust will observe the mourning period but will remain fully open as we continue to support our pupils, families and staff.

We look forward to welcoming back all children to school on Monday especially our new Year R classes and any children joining the school in other year groups.
