Festival of Light - Year 4
Fri 17 Nov 2017On Friday 17th November, a group of Year 4 pupils took part in the Gravesend Christmas Light Switch-on and Parade. The children joined the lantern parade, organised in partnership with Cohesion Plus, which processed through the town. The parade was led by an especially commissioned piece of art featuring Jack Frost along with frosted fairy stilt walkers and other performers. The children carried their lanterns which had been designed and made in school the previous week. Thank you to all the children, parents and staff who supported this event. Great fun was had by all! -
Train to teach with the Primary First Trust
Mon 13 Nov 2017Dear Friend or Parent of the Primary First Trust,
Are you interested in training to become a primary school teacher?
Our schools are part of a growing number of schools leading the way for more school-led teacher training. This is really important to us because it means we can choose the very best talent and develop them into teachers. Being able to choose who we train as teachers helps us in delivering the best outcomes for the students at all the schools in our partnership.
We have vacancies now to start training from September 2018 and we would be very interested to head from you if you are thinking of becoming a teacher, or know someone who is. We're looking for people who have (or will have) a degree, have a passion for teaching and want to inspire young people to fulfil their potential.
