Term 3 Creative Homework
Mon 26 Feb 2018At the end of last term, the whole school gathered in the hall to share the creative homework that children in each class had completed based around work in school. There was work linked to the Vikings, Times Tables, Penguin art, Space and Planets, Light and Shadow and London. Here are just a few pictures of the wonderful work that was created. Thank you to all the family members who supported their children at home with their work. We look forward to the next set of creative homework at the end of Term 4. -

Cold Weather!
Sun 25 Feb 2018Dear Parent/Carers,
As you know we are forecasted to have some extremely cold weather this week, with the possibility of snow. Please can you ensure that all children come to school appropriately dressed with a hat, scarf and gloves. As a school we will monitor how long the children spend out at break. This might mean that we take the decision to have a short run around outside with a longer indoor break so that they don’t get cold.
Year 6 children who are going on residential, please make sure that you pack lots of layers to wear. Miss Marshall, Mr Trodd and the PGL staff will make sure that the children are kept active at all times and the timetable maybe adjusted to ensure that the children have a balance of indoor and outdoor activities. We will make sure that they keep warm!
If we do have snow this week, please do check the school website for updates and http://www.kentclosures.co.uk/ where we will also post live updates.
We will endeavour to keep the school open at all times.
Many thanks for your help, keep wrapped up and stay warm!
Miss Sexton

Safer Internet Day - Parent Information
Mon 05 Feb 2018A big thank you to all the parents who were able to come into school this afternoon and support their children during our Safer Internet Day 2018 activities. Many parents also attended the presentation with Miss Hart at the end of the afternoon.
Miss Hart shared a presentation about Parenting in the Digital Age, from Internet Matters.org which shared some very interesting and thought-provoking statistics. Some parents were keen to access this information again, and we have made the presentation available on our Safeguarding page.
