Year 3 Volcano Art

The Year 6 Classroom...QUITS!
Tue 22 May 2018The Year 6 children had a big surprise when they arrived for school on Monday morning...their classroom had quit! It was so tired from helping the children get ready for their SATs that it decided it needed a rest and went on strike! The children had to write very persuasive letters to convince the classroom to go back to normal! See more pictures on the Year 6 class page. -
Royal Wedding Celebration Lunch!
Thu 17 May 2018Today we had a Royal Wedding Celebration lunch at school. 180 children enjoyed a mix of English and American food to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle this Saturday. The children said that it was the best school lunch they had ever eaten! -
Year 3 - St George's Day Parade
Thu 10 May 2018Year 3 (Egypt Class) took part in the St. George's Day Parade in Gravesend Town Centre in April. Following a special art day in school where the children worked with a professional artist, the children joined many other local schools in a parade that went all the way through the town centre to Community Square. It was even on the local television news!
Westcourt children looked splendid in their armour and carrying horses. It was a very special and fun experience for everyone involved.

Year 2 Dragon Making
Thu 10 May 2018Year 2 (Australia Class) had a very exciting afternoon when they made their dragons. Lots of parents and family members came in to create some amazing finished products. It took a lot of hard work, but everyone worked really well and didn't give up when things got hard.
Here are just a few of the brilliant finished products. Well done Year 2!
