The whole school enjoyed looking at the different home learning projects created by each group in a wide range of themes: Treasure Island, Dover Castle, Rainforests, Romans, Plants, United Kingdom and Big Space Art!  Here are just a few pictures.  Thank you to all parents, carers and family members who got involved with these exciting pieces of work.

Year 6 and Year 5 entertained the whole school, parents and friends with an absolutely amazing production of 'Treasure Island'.  The acting was superb, the production was very slick and the songs were incredibly catchy.  Well done to all involved!

Thamk you Australia class for sharing your Narnia learning! What a fantastic assembly!

Year 3 made great use of the Compass Garden today for their maths learning about capacity and volume.  Everyone enjoyed the sunshine!

The whole school had a fantastic treat as part of our Narnia week with a professional theatre company production of 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe'.  Everyone really enjoyed the show and were amazed by the four actors who played all the parts, controlled the lights, changed the scenery and played the music all by themselves!

On Friday 29th June, Year 6 children will be running a summer fayre on the key stage two playground at 3.30. Thank you for all the donations that have come in today (see the pictures below for the mountain of cakes and the forest of bottles!).

On Friday please bring your small change for after school. There will be a bottle tombola, a prize tombola, a cake sale, guess the number of sweets to name just a few!

This week is Narnia week at school! All the children will be taking part in learning activities based around the story of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. On Wednesday the children will be watching a production of the story. Do talk to your children about this exciting week and find out what they have been learning!
