The school will be open tomorrow, Tuesday 5^th February, as normal as we now have heating and hot water back on. Thank you for your understanding about today, it is much appreciated. See you all in the morning.

School is closed today due to no heating or water in the school.  Apologies for the late notice.  We have been trying to fix the problem, but engineers cannot give us a time for repairs to take place.  We will update you during the day.

We said a sad farewell to Miss Gilliam who left Westcourt today to move on to her new job.  In assembly, she was presented with flowers and presents and also cards made by the children.  Thank you Miss Gilliam for everything you have done for our school - lego club, lunchtimes, driving the minibus and, most importantly, helping us with our learning.  Good luck!

All the staff at Westcourt Primary and Nursery School would like to wish everybody a very Happy New Year! We look forward to welcoming you all back to school on Thursday 3rd January for two creative cross curricular days.

Today we said a sad farewell to Miss Holness and Mrs Rea who are moving on to new adventures. Thank you so much for everything you have done for the children of Westcourt School. Everyone will miss you lots! 

Miss Sexton was delighted to give out nearly 70  certificates in assembly for those children who have been in school every day in Terms 1 and 2. That is 100% attendance. Well done to all!  Let's try and keep it up for the whole school year!

Congratulations to all children who are on accelerated reader. 100% of children reached their term 2 target! This is a huge achievement and has never happened before. All the staff are extremely proud of what you have achieved. Thank you to all parents and carers who have supported their children with their reading, we couldn't do it with out you. Keep reading over the holidays!
